Syura Kerajaan

Syura Kerajaan is the kingdom ruled by Munira's late father. The kingdom came to be when Munira's ancestors discovered a lush land high above the Sea of Clouds. Munira's ancestors would rule here as royalty, with only a small catch - the family curse. The kingdom's location is unknown to most, but it’s said it can be found far past the clouds from the Eorzean land of the Churning Mists. The journey from Eorzea to Syura Kerajaan is a treacherous one, and would require machinery for travel.Syura Kerajaan’s colors to reflect royalty is a pale ice blue, saying to mimic the sky that surrounds it.Syura’s capital is named Memori. The capital is located in the center of floating city, marked by a round stone keep castle. Residential districts surround the castle, class/status typically declines the farther you go from Memori. The populace of the kingdom is heavily Xaela, though you can still find at least a small population of each of Eorzea’s races there.Syura Kerajaan is a Monarchy. The kingdom is extremely isolationist. In part due to it’s sheer distance from the rest of the world, but also by choice. While the kingdom is isolationist it does on special occasion welcome visitors, but very rarely allows immigrants. However, since most people of Eorzea don’t know of Syura Kerajaan, the application rate for immigration is staggeringly low.Syrun Kerajaan translates from Malay to Heaven Kingdom.

When All is Lost, Then All is Found

Munira was conceived by Liva, her Veena birth mother, who was a concubine to the King of Syura Kerajaan, Yul. The pregnancy was hastily hidden until Liva was able to give birth. The infant Munira was whisked away from the Kingdom in the middle of the night by Dordaneh, a Raen woman hailing from Sui No Sato - Liva’s confidant and lover. Before their leave, Liva, a skilled black mage, cast a black magick glamour onto Munira to disguise her as a Raen.Although Sui no Sato typically does not welcome those who once left back, because Dordaneh was born there and her parents still resided, they permitted her and her "daughter's" return. While there Munira lived with Dordaneh, and Dordaneh’s sheltered Mother and Father. Dordaneh was subject to scorn from most of the residents of the village for having a child of wedlock, especially having the father remain unknown. Though they were never inherently cruel, Munira’s grandparents were hesitant to nurture the child, sensing something was amiss. The song All Is Found is part of the Raen glamour incantation. Dordaneh was instructed by Liva to sing it to Munira often, every night if possible, to retain the black magicks.Munira was made to believe Dordaneh was her biological mother. She lived in Sui No Sato through her childhood, even for a short time after her mother’s death. The Viera discovered her true form following the death of her mother. The mental trauma counter acted with the magick's aether and she was discovered as a young Veena by the Blue Kojin tribe. The Kojin tribes most skilled black mage was able to mimic the glamour incantation for her to return to Sui No Sato, but not knowing the secrets of the spell nor the necessary repeated incantation (All Is Found) the glamour began to noticeably fade.Munira’s scales and hair would glow a rainbow holographic hue, and on the worst days her height would change sporadically – growing and shrinking a foot within the span of a week. She was already an outsider in Sui No Sato, and taking this into consideration with the short amount of time she knew she had left of her disguise she decided it best to leave. The Echo had provided her with visions of Syura Kerajaan, and she set out on a journey to find her lineage - in hopes to find somewhere she belonged. After traveling Eorzea Munira arrived at Syura Kerajaan in turmoil. The king, her biological father, had just passed. Her arrival seemed all too coincidental to his death, and only after she was heavily questioned, aether read by the few of the kingdom’s Oracle, and met with many of the high born and parliament members she was proven to be truly the child of the late king.It was upon her return to the kingdom that Munira began to suffer symptoms of the Winged People Curse. After some time, it was decided by both Munira and parliament that she would return to Eorzea, insisting she needed experience in ruling/leading before she could take the throne. Once back in Eorzea she formed the Free Company Mirai Narrative. She recruited members and ran the company as the lead, hoping to prove herself to herself and so many others that she is capable of doing so.A few Astral Sun and Moons passed before she returned to Syrun Kerajaan. Munira was crowned as Queen, but only ruled for a short amount of time. Rumors began to spread within the parliament of her intentions as ruler. Once it was outed that Munira was a Viera in disguise and harbored the curse of the Winged People, Parliament took action and proceeded with exile. Through a violent and traumatic physical battle Munira and her chocobo Blossom fought until ultimately banished from the place she fought so desperately to protect, lead, and she thought she could finally call home.Munira returned to Eorzea and considered trying to return to Sui No Sato despite all her black magicks faded. It’s by chance meeting in the Ruby Sea that her only childhood friend, Noire Eiry, finds her and tells her about the new discovery of The First. He informs her there is talk of an entire Viera colony, and in hopes of finding where she belongs, Munira heads out on a journey to find The Wood. This is the first journey she doesn’t take alone, as Noire insists on accompanying her – worried for his dear friend after she has so recently been through so much.(Further information on timeline)
